About I & M Landscaping Nursery, Inc

Our Company started in 1969 as Ivan’s Lawn Care. He offered parttime mowing and snow removal while being a diesel Mechanic up until the end of the 1975 season. In 1976; the company started to expand as Ivan and his son, Mike, now offered more landscaping services to local new housing developments in town.

In 1986; after Mike graduated college with a degree in landscape design, I & M (Ivan & Mike) Landscaping became a fulltime family landscape and retail nursery. The business continued to grow and thrive. While Ivan and Mike ran the landscape side, Jan (Ivan’s Wife) ran the books and retail center. Later in 1991, I & M was incorporated. Ivan was involved in the business up until his unexpected death in 1999.

The business was faced with making changes or no longer existing. Mike and his mother, Jan had to make some decisions on how to restructure the business. By being able to change through difficult times I & M is now going & growing strong!
